A hairdresser from Co. Limerick is responsible for Taylor Swift's new haircut

Well now.

LAST WEEK, TAYLOR Swift got a haircut and because she’s Taylor Swift, it made headline news.

And, yes, we are laughing at the overuse of the word ‘shag’.

Swift debuted the hair at her friend Liberty Ross’ birthday where she reportedly partied with Mick Jagger, Mary J. Blige, Pharell Williams and Haim.

Standard night out, really.

And now it turns out a man from Co. Limerick was responsible for her haircut.

Gareth Bromell, who cut the star’s hair last week, originally hails from the village of Castleconnell in Co. Limerick, according to the Limerick Leader.

He now lives in the United States and divides his time between Los Angeles and New York. He works with the infinitely glam Meche Salon in Los Angeles and the Marie Robinson Salon in New York. (Haircuts in the former start at $175. Eek.)

He works predominantly as an editorial hairstylist and his work has been seen in numerous magazines and advertising campaigns, including Elle, Glamour and Marie Claire.

A quick gander at his Instagram reveals he has also worked with the likes of Michelle Williams…

Chelsea Handler…

Caitriona Balfe…

And Kat Dennings.

The most glamorous person to come out of Limerick since Celia Holman-Lee, tbh.
